1:1 Online Personal Training for U.S. Professionals: How CMBS Works

CMBS — Calisthenics Made by Sam — offers one-to-one online personal training with coach Samuel Švagerko. The service is for U.S. clients who want individual coaching, live video sessions and a training plan that fits their goals, equipment and schedule.

If you are a busy professional on the East Coast, the first step is to establish what support you need and which session times work for you. You can train from your home gym, a suitable space at home or your local gym. Coaching is delivered online; you do not need to visit a CMBS studio.

What does one-to-one online coaching include?

The one-to-one option combines live video sessions with personalized programming and support between sessions. Training can include calisthenics, strength training and mobility work, selected around your current ability and goals.

Your program can include tailored workouts, exercise demonstrations, nutrition guidance, progress reviews and feedback. Live sessions give you time with Sam to work through your training together. The package, session frequency and support arrangements are discussed before you begin.

How is it different from a workout plan?

A workout plan tells you what to do. CMBS one-to-one coaching adds live interaction with your coach, alongside the personalized workouts, check-ins and support. This is different from CMBS programming without live sessions. When you enquire, specify that you want the one-to-one option with live video coaching.

The aim is to make your training practical for your life. A change in equipment, a demanding workweek or a trip can be discussed with your coach so the plan can be adjusted rather than simply repeated unchanged.

How do you get started?

Start with a free consultation. Discuss your goals, training experience, available equipment and weekly schedule. Mention that you are based in the United States and provide your time zone. For East Coast clients, confirm available session times in Eastern Time before choosing a package.

Onboarding includes forms and movement analysis by video. This gives Sam information to shape the training plan. Your progress is then reviewed using training logs, check-ins, feedback and agreed measurements. Photos can also be part of the existing progress-tracking approach.

Do you need a gym or advanced calisthenics skills?

You do not need to be an advanced athlete. CMBS works with beginners as well as experienced trainees, with programming adapted to your starting point. Training can take place at home, in a gym or while traveling, depending on your equipment and the work you are doing.

Discuss your setup before purchasing equipment. Existing options may include dumbbells, a barbell or rings. A phone or laptop is used for online communication and video sessions; a tripod and headphones may make sessions easier to follow.

Can coaching fit a busy professional schedule?

CMBS focuses on personalized coaching for people with demanding schedules. Rather than assuming you can follow an ideal week every week, the consultation establishes what time and equipment you can realistically commit to.

Remote delivery is suitable for U.S. clients in markets such as New York, Boston, Greenwich, northern New Jersey and the Washington, D.C. area. These are online service areas, not CMBS office locations. Your actual session availability is agreed with Sam.

How much does it cost?

Your quote depends on the package, live-session frequency and length of commitment. Ask for a clear price in U.S. dollars during your consultation, along with the included sessions, support, payment schedule and cancellation terms. Confirm those details before enrolling.

Who will coach you?

Samuel Švagerko is the coach behind Calisthenics Made by Sam. The CMBS website lists his calisthenics training with Efect Fit Academy and strength-and-conditioning education with Pošvanc Fitness Academy. You can review the certification details on the homepage and ask about his approach during the consultation.

Book a conversation about your goals

Bring three things to your consultation: the result you want to work toward, the equipment you have and the time you can realistically set aside. Sam can then discuss whether one-to-one online coaching is a fit and explain the next steps.
